CONDITIONS

This Contract is a service subscription contract between Space Republic (hereinafter sometimes referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”) and the Customer. All customers are required to accept and comply with the terms and conditions set forth herein. By accepting the terms and conditions of this Contract and using Space Republic’s services you accept and agree to comply with the terms and conditions of this contract. It may be amended from time to time as provided herein.

IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS CONTRACT, THEN YOU ARE NOT AUTHORISED TO USE ANY OF SPACE REPUBLIC’S SERVICES.

Space Republic reserves the right to change the terms of this Contract, from time to time. We will give notice of essential changes to customers in a timely manner. Notice to the customer will be considered given when such notice is (a) indicated and accessible from the Space Republic website or (b) provided by email to the customer’s email address on file with Space Republic. If a customer requests (via an email to us), we will email that customer a notice of the changes. The customer agrees that all changes to the terms of this Contract will be effective and binding on the effective date indicated in the notice, which at a minimum should be fourteen (14) days following notice of the changes.

1. Basic Terms of Use
1.1 This Contract is a space-sharing service contract offered by Space Republic. This Contract does not in itself confer any right to access and/or use any Space Republic pods. A customer may only use our service, to the extent that the pod is available, in accordance with the terms of this Contract and subject to paying all applicable fees and charges. Space Republic will take reasonable endeavours to ensure reasonable availability of its pods for its customers.
1.2 Customers are prohibited from sharing their login credentials with other persons, including other customers, in order to ensure accurate visibility on who is accessing our pods. Customers are prohibited from allowing pod access in their name generally.
1.3 Only one person should occupy a specific pod at any time.
1.4 Children under the age of 16 should not access any pods, at any time.
1.5 Any loss, damage to or destruction of a pod must be reported to Space Republic by email or by phone, in a timely manner.
1.6 Any unauthorised use of the Space Republic pod must be immediately reported to Space Republic by email or by phone.
1.7 Any suspicious behaviour involving or nearby to the Space Republic pod must be immediately reported to Space Republic, or the pod’s defined ‘Host’ by email or by phone.
1.8 Anything reasonably deemed as anti-social behaviour in, or within the vicinity of a pod, will not be tolerated at any time.
1.9 To maintain and protect Space Republic pods, and to prevent and detect crime, we may use electronic devices to monitor the condition, performance and operation of Space Republic pods. This information may be used irrespective of whether the service has been recently used or not.
1.10 Pods must never be used for storage purposes and belongings should never be left unattended for a period deemed to be an unreasonable length of time.
Failure to comply with these clauses may result in the prohibition of using Space Republic services, and customers could be subject to liability for any losses, liabilities and damages arising as a result of the unauthorised use of a Space Republic pod, or the related booking system. Additionally, the customer will bear the applicable fees and costs of any pod usage and for any damage that results from such use and/or breach of these clauses.

2. Fees & Other Responsibilities of the Customer
2.1 The customer promises to pay Space Republic all applicable usage fees associated with the outlined terms of use.
2.2 The customer is required to pay all fees and costs incurred when overstaying occupancy of a pod which has otherwise been reserved for use by another customer.
2.3 It is the customer’s responsibility to provide reasonable means of payment at the point of service. Prepayment cards are not accepted.

3. Limitations of Liability
3.1 Space Republic shall not be responsible for any loss of, or damage to, any goods in or on the pod (unless any loss or damage is due to our negligence or failure to carry out our obligations under this Contract).
3.2 Space Republic shall not be responsible for any personal injury or death in relation to a customer or third party, involving the use of a Space Republic pod. This is subject to any direct acts or non-acts of negligence, correctly attributed to Space Republic.
